About the Blog

Welcome to the fabric of my little world – “French Shabby Chic Cabane

You may ask me, “why this name?”  Anything French bring “Shabby and Chic” to my thoughts.  And having grown up with everything old and re-purposed, is how much it rings in my life today and this is why FSCC liven my blog.

At “French Shabby Chic Cabane” is where I write about vintage home wares and my home made couture, which gives that shabby and country feel to any home.  The remnant that will stand out, an old mirror or a lampshade, an old faded picture or an old kettle and some pretty morsels that will catch attention.

Here is the place where I will share my vintage style couture.  And every piece of crafts you will discover on this blog is handmade by me for your home.  I throw away no pieces of fabrics, they are all used and made into something shabby chic, beautiful, and I will share them to you here, and knowing it is also in my online shop.

I love interior decorating, flower arrangements, curtains, cushions, and many more aspects for homes.

Cooking and baking are some other entertainments of mine.  I will surely be sharing some interesting recipes when time throws some savvy cooking senses up my old brain.

On top of all things, my blog is where you will meet me and my adventures and wanders of my simple lifestyle. I love life with all its different kinds of winds!

I have enjoyed my travel through blogging. I am bewildered at the beautiful excellent and influencing people I have met along the way.  It all started as a way to chronicle about home, family life and adventures but it soon grew and now I have readers whom I consider as my extended friends and families all over the world.  The journey is amazing and I don’t want the destination to happen yet.  I hope you are enjoying your trip and that you will stay for a very long time.

And thank you for sailing this ocean with me and it is wonderful to know that you have anchored here to read about everything “Shabby and Chic”

It’s been nice having you!

Juli.
