Happy New Year

January 3, 2018

A new year is like a ship but it docks once a year.  Yes, it has arrived, safely docked into the

DSC_0017harbour – new year 2018!

What Next? – Some may think that there will be new possibilities, dreams to realise, new resolutions and steps into change.   And  some may be thinking it is a new book, a so called empty book.

So much like myself, it will be the same old style.  For me the 1st January is just another day.  It is the day after the 31st of December, therefore it is the same old tradition of keep going.  I do not make resolutions.  I believe that life is not only a journey, but is a book with lots of pages.  And since that we already came into the world, it cannot be an empty book.   For me this book is old, full of written stories –  many stories that you will never believe – “laugh.”

Every 1st of January is just an ordinary day for me.  I keep my past year in-tact, I don’t erase any mistakes.  Therefore my story of another year becomes part of the previous years.

Well what next?  So far 2018 is the continuation of what was and what will be.  I don’t set anything new or start anything new.  I would not change myself from being the woman who loves her sewing machines.  Since I know how to cut a piece of fabric and make it into something more creative, therefore I would stick to my crafting world.   And give myself a chance to developing new creations that I can share to the world.

Well this is how I write my story, and how I see the world, and how I look at the world.  This is Me!

I wish you all a happy day!

Hello Ann. Been long time. I am so glad to read from you today. Thank you very much for stopping by. Surely I do not make resolutions. Resolutions puts more fuel in the fire. I don’t believe that there has been ever a resolutions that have gone perfect until the end. It breaks people to pieces and it leaves us in the middle of the way. I believe that imperfectly going on with life and doing your same old venture that you embarked upon is the only way one will come out good. Once on a venture, we know all the tricks of going up and down with it, and once we are down we know how to pick it up. But what about starting new??? When will one come to find happiness?? Starting new all the time, you will never win, we can’t just keep starting all the time. I believe “keep going” is the most friendly beliefs one can trust. Well for me life is all about being crazy, mad, smiles, laughs and making “no plans” – “I only let things happen.” I just want to wish you a “Marvellous 2018 with lots of good things in it.” Take care of yourself!

I am intrigued by your comment that you don’t make resolutions. Being raised in a capitalist society, setting goals or resolutions was learned at an early age. In fact, the only years I didn’t resolve to do or achieve something, were years where I was at a bad place, emotionally and mentally. Hmmmm, interesting. Thanks for sharing your life-view. You’ve given me much to ponder. Happy new year, Juli! Happy old you!

Oh Juli, you and I are so much alike. I also believe that it is the same old book. I don’t make resolutions, either. Sure, there are a lot of things I would like to do, many things I would like to change, but in the end, there is only so much a person can do operating within the restrictions they are given. The only bad thing is that the older I become, the more negative I become also. I should work on that part but I don’t think I have the strength, lol. The Final Countdown! You can’t beat a fun, 1980s band. Those were the days! I best get to sweeping. Happy day to you too!

oooh Lana, bless me, I oversaw your comment, is it really 2018 getting at me? or is it age catching up with me? hahahahahah! I believe you that we are doing the same journey. Resolutions is adding more fuel to the fire. oh well, the older you become, you should be getting more crazy and keep smiling, and leave all the negative aspects behind you, don’t allow them to worry you and just don’t even look at them. That is what I do to problems or anything negative, I live life to the full, and problems will get out of the way when it feels like it. Yes the “Final Countdown” is a great song, my favourite, since I became a teenager in the 80’s, I kept of poster of them. Bring back the 80’s hahaha. It’s been nice reading from you! Thank you for stopping by!
